This assignment was done as an art project.  Students were given clay to design and create their own piece of pottery. 
They were shown how to make a pinch pot and a coil pot.  Students glazed the pieces of pottery between having them fired two separate times.  They were assisted in this project by Magnolia High School art teacher Laurie Hicks.
