Magnolia Public Schools
Accreditation History

2003-2004

All schools in the Magnolia School District are accredited according to Arkansas Standards for Education and all schools, except Walker Elementary School, are accredited by the North Central Association for Elementary and Secondary Schools.  East Side/West and Central Schools are accredited-probationary because in 2003-2004 students received fifty minutes of physical activity instead of the required sixty minutes.  Walker Elementary is accredited-probationary because last year fifth grade students did not receive required instruction in music or art and physical activity time is inadequate.  Magnolia High School is accredited-probationary because the physical education offered did not extend the full school year instead students took a semester of physical education and a semester of health.  The probationary status at each school was corrected during the 2004-2005 school year.
