Mission Statement

A partnership will be established at the Magnolia Junior High School among students,
faculty, staff, the family and the community during the transition years from
elementary to high school which allows students to grow in personal responsibility,
academics and in extra-curricular activities.

Welcome to the Magnolia Junior High School web site. The faculty and staff of Magnolia Junior High School are committed to life-long learning as we continue to grow and improve through extensive training at local, state, and national workshops.

Magnolia Junior High School strives to remain “ahead of the curve” in all academic endeavors. We strive to meet the needs of all of our students by offering a curriculum that is rigorous and challenging. We offer several advanced placement courses. All classrooms at MJHS are equipped with computers and the latest educational software. Many of these classrooms are also equipped with Smartboards.

Magnolia Junior High School offers an array of extracurricular programs in which to participate. We have a variety of club activities and athletic programs. Our athletes are competitive both locally and statewide and we have one of the finest junior high band programs in south Arkansas.
