    All classrooms in the Magnolia Public Schools are equipped with multimedia computer workstations and printers.  Each school is connected to its own internal Intranet.  In addition, all classrooms are connected to the Internet and all staff members have an e-mail address.  Microsoft 2000 professional operating system and Microsoft Office 2000 are installed on computers in offices and classrooms.  

    Business and technology computer labs at Magnolia High School have been refurbished and each equipped with a smart board.  The campus sports three new subject-specific computer labs - English, mathematics and science.  MHS has a new Easy Caller (PhoneMaster) communications system.

    Business and technology computer labs at Magnolia Junior High School have been refurbished and each equipped with a smart board and a data projector Accelerated Reader software is available for student use.  Equipment in the EAST lab has been expanded and refurbished and relocated.

    Students at Central Elementary School receive 100 minutes each week in the computer lab with a certified instructor and an aide.  Instruction in the lab focuses on reading, mathematics, language arts, and writing skills.  Students benefit from the computerized Accelerated Reader program.  Classrooms have additional computers to accommodate students taking the Accelerated Reader quizzes.

    Students at East Side Elementary School spend 70 minutes each week in the computer lab with a certified instructor and an aide.  Instruction in the lab focuses on reading, mathematics, language arts, and writing skills.  Students continue to benefit from the computerized Accelerated Reader program at East Side

    Each classroom at West Side School has a mini-lab consisting of three computers for student use.
