Magnolia’s Connor Harrington Named 7-4A Conference Boys Golf Coach of the Year
Magnolia, AR — For the second consecutive year, Magnolia Panther Golf Coach Connor Harrington has been honored as the 7-4A Conference Boys Golf Coach of the Year. Harrington’s leadership and commitment to excellence have once again propelled the Panthers to a standout season.
This fall, Harrington guided the Panthers to victories in 11 of their 12 matches, including a commanding 24-stroke victory in Tuesday’s 7-4A Conference Tournament in Malvern. Throughout the season, Magnolia’s average margin of victory was an impressive 17 strokes.
The team’s success extended beyond match play, with two Panthers earning All-Conference honors and two more finishing in the top seven at the conference tournament. These achievements reflect both the depth of talent on the roster and Harrington’s ability to bring out the best in his players.
Coach Harrington and the Panthers will now set their sights on the Class 4A State Golf Tournament, scheduled for October 7 at Highlands Golf Course in Bella Vista.
The Magnolia School District congratulates Coach Harrington on this well-deserved honor and celebrates the continued success of the Panther Golf program.
