Magnolia, Arkansas — Walker Pre-Kindergarten Center has been recognized for its commitment to excellence in early childhood education, receiving both the Office for Education Policy (OEP) Statewide Early Childhood Education Quality Award and the OEP Regional Early Childhood Education Quality Award from the University of Arkansas.

The awards recognize schools and early childhood programs that demonstrate exceptional quality and outstanding outcomes for young learners. Walker Pre-Kindergarten Center was honored for its overall high-quality performance and was ranked among the Top 20 early childhood programs in the State of Arkansas.

In addition to its statewide recognition, Walker Pre-Kindergarten Center earned the distinction of being ranked No. 2 in the Southwest Region, highlighting the program's dedication to providing a strong educational foundation for Magnolia's youngest students.

The Office for Education Policy at the University of Arkansas annually recognizes schools and early childhood programs that achieve high levels of success in preparing students for future academic achievement. These awards are based on multiple measures of educational quality and student outcomes.
