JURNEE LOWE RECIEVES SAU CHEERLEADING SCHOLARSHIP
Magnolia High School senior, Jurnee Lowe, recently signed a letter of intent to cheer for Southern Arkansas University on February 12 surrounded by family, friends, and coaches. Jurnee, a cheer head-captain this year is a 4-year letterman and 3-year All-American cheerleader. She is also a member of several other activities on campus such as Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Panther track team, and is the treasurer of Student Council.
Jurnee also has several awards such as being an MHS scholar, being on the honor roll, and has been awarded Choir Director’s Choice & Leadership Award as a member of the MHS Chamber Choir. After graduating in May, Jurnee plans to pursue a degree in business at SAU.
Coach Hannah Hurley says, “I’ve had the privilege of knowing Jurnee since she was a little girl, and being her teacher and coach. She is a natural leader with her positive attitude and work ethic in and out of the classroom. We look forward to continuing to see Jurnee achieve great things as she continues her education and cheerleading career here in Magnolia.”
