Due to the high number of isolated staff and students, Magnolia School District will use an AMI day on Tuesday Jan. 18. We will return to onsite instruction Wednesday, Jan. 19. After-school activities will remain as scheduled.

The Magnolia School District will be closed Friday, January 14 due to the number of staff and students absent. This day will be used as an AMI day. All school events will be rescheduled.
The District will evaluate the numbers over the next few days to make a decision when to return to normal schedules. The District will be closed Monday, January 17 in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Hopefully school can resume on Tuesday.

Students in the Work-Based Learning program at MHS are researching future careers! This week students have the opportunity to job shadow someone in a field they hope to pursue. Yesterday students had job shadowing opportunities with Aerojet Rocketdyne, Farmers Bank & Trust, Ray and Associates Real Estate, Spittler Tire and Auto, and Albemarle Corporation. Thank you to our community for pouring back into our students!

MHS students pursuing a career in engineering met with an engineer from Aerojet Rocketdyne of Camden,AR. Victor is a mechanical problem engineer in the Operational Leadership Rotation Program with Aerojet. He spoke with some of our students who are considering an education in engineering, and how to be successful in this career choice. Thank you Victor and Aerojet for giving your time with our students today!
